CSA Annual Trips
2022- Dubai, United Arab Emirates
City Select Academy organises an annual trip to provide our students with a well-deserved reward for their dedication throughout the academic year. In 2022, we embarked on an enriching journey to Dubai with 33 of our students. Over the course of five days, the boys engaged in a variety of activities that combined training, leisure, cultural exploration, and community service. They had the opportunity to hone their skills on the field, immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Dubai Expo, and discover the city’s landmarks. Additionally, they contributed to the local community by participating in voluntary work at a nearby school and experienced the essence of Middle Eastern culture firsthand. For many of them, this trip marked not only their first time on a plane but also their inaugural experience in the Middle East, leaving them with memories that will last a lifetime.
Dubai 2023
Our academy, partners of Southampton FC, extends its reach to private school students in the UAE through after-school training sessions. Moreover, we operate a Southampton FC-branded team spanning from U8s to U16s. Recently, we organised an enriching two-and-a-half-week holiday for four selected students in the UAE, covering all expenses. During their stay, our students shared their expertise by conducting coaching sessions, enhancing their confidence and self-esteem while also expanding their professional networks in the Middle East. Emphasising independence, the boys managed daily tasks like cooking and maintaining cleanliness. Additionally, they had the privilege of training with a local academy, leaving a lasting impression. This experience fostered lifelong friendships and unforgettable moments for our students.
2023 - Marbella, Spain
City Select Academy organised a rejuvenating three-day trip to Marbella, Spain, providing our students with a much-needed break from the bustling life of London. The focus of this excursion was on fostering camaraderie among the boys while immersing themselves in the beauty and culture of Marbella. During their time in this picturesque city, the boys enjoyed each other’s company, bonding over shared experiences and exploring the vibrant streets of Marbella. This trip offered a valuable opportunity for the boys to unwind, recharge, and create lasting memories together outside of their academic and football pursuits.
